Kępa Mieszczańska Island - at Zyndrama z Maszkowic Street is a quiet and peaceful place at the Odra River embankment. One can get to the Market Square after a few minutes walk. As we go further along the Odra embankment, we pass the University of Wrocław, and reach Piaskowa Island and Ostrów Tumski Island - beautiful at each time of the year.

This location has become even more attractive due to the city revitalization programme, which included this part of Kępa Mieszczańska island. The old tenement houses in the neighbourhood at Księcia Witolda Street No. 45 and 47 have been beautifully renovated by the District of Wrocław and the houses at Zyndrama z Maszkowic Street No. 18 and 18a are currently being repaired and will be given a brand new elevation.
